Fish Fingers

If you have leftover fish, this recipe is delicious and kids will love it.

Serve it with tartar sauce, or any other of your choice.

Yield: 12 pieces


500g grilled or fried fish

2 small boiled potatoes

½ teaspoon Paprika


½ teaspoon Black Pepper

½ teaspoon dry coriander

2 whisked eggs

3/4 cup bread crumbs

Oil to fry the fish fingers


  • Remove fish skeleton and put the flesh aside.
  • In a bowl, smash the potatoes then add the fish and the salt, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder and dry coriander. Mix them together.
  • With your hands, take equal sizes from the potato and fish mix and form them into fingers. Dip each finger in the breadcrumbs then in the eggs then back in the bread crumbs.
  • If you want to bake them in the oven, heat the oven at 200C. In the oven pan, put some oil and place the fish fingers. Put in oven for 10 minutes then turn on the other side to become gold in color. Or you can choose to fry them with some oil in the skillet.
