Steak with Mushroom Sauce
6 pieces of shell steak
2 teaspoons steak seasoning: paprika, coarse salt, black pepper, garlic powder
2 onions, julienned
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup heavy cream
1 ½ cups water (or more depending on necessity)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1-Sprinkle steak seasoning on both sides of the steaks
2-Fry the steaks until golden brown on both sides in olive oil
3-Put the steaks aside
4-Add butter in the same pan, add the onions and cook until softened, add the mushrooms.
5-Once the mushrooms get cooked add the flour and then some hot water.
6-Add more steak seasoning and then heavy cream.
7-Put the steaks in a serving glass pan. Pour the sauce over them. Top off with cheese and bake on 220C covered until the cheese melts.
